Appliance Installation and Service Corp. (AIS) was started in 1947 as the service arm of a prominant Buffalo department store named Sattlers. At that time AIS installed and serviced domestic appliances sold by Sattlers. 1978 was a turning point for AIS. It was purchased by Ron Canestro and switched from a domestic servicer to commercial service specializing in foodservice equipment. In 2001 two senior managers, Paul Glowacki and Wayne Stoutner, aquired the company and since then, AIS has grown multiple locations and has CFESA Certified technicians throughout Western New York.
AIS is a one of 32 elite servicers in the U.S. which have been certified by the the Commercial Food Equipment Servicers Association.
